The Parktown Prawn (Libanasidus vittatus, a type of king cricket), indiginous to South Africa. Hated these buggers. They tend to get very jumpy when agitated, and are resistant to most household insecticides - those just piss them off and make them even jumpier. Oh, and when they're agitated they spray you with a black liquid that smells awful.

Cool, huh? I'm glad I'm not living in South Africa anymore =p

Yeah prawns are little shits. It's like you need your own personal security detachment to guard you from them.

Well fuk me theres no crocodile option !

We dun usually worry about bugs down under, unless ya a city slicker...... There is a 2 foot goana living in my shed roof, nice and warm up there.Fuker eats my gekos. But he eats the mice too so its not so bad.And keeps the snakes away. The roof gutters have lots of redbacks in em, gotta be a bit careful when cleaning em out.

Guess l'll go with redback spiders then !
