ok, this question is really really dumb, so it goes in Mr. Spam today;

Ok, I'm in Computer Graphics Design, and it's all going good, EXCEPT the friggin' mac monitor at school doesn't actually show the colors that will print out on paper. The colors look really bright. i.e. I was working on a self-portrait project in which I had a predator and an alien faded in on either side of me into a space background and on the screen it look sweet, but once I sent it to my home computer to fiddle with or printed it, it was WAY too dark and I could even see the alien at all :mad: Is there a certain setting I'm supposed to know about to fix this? Contrast and brightness look fine, what's the deal :confused:

asuming it's got os x:

click the apple in the top left corner and go down to "System Prefrences..."

select displays

click the colors tab

click "calibrate"

"Display Calibrator" should open, do what it says.
