Ok I have a question...can microwaves interfere with internet connection? Ive noticed over the last week that my computer loses connection everytime someone uses the microwave, Im just wondering if thats ever happened to anyone before.

To the first part of your question, yes...Microwave ovens operate at 2.45 GHz. They can interfere with your wireless link (if it is at or near the same frequency) or with a direct hook up, if the phone/cable line is not shielded properly and/or too close (10 to 15 ft) from your microwave you'll get interference. If you have a wireless connection, you can always try placing a metal sheet or plywood sheet between the link and your microwave to block the frequency. Aluminum foil can work in a pinch, and be a quick way to determine if that is the problem.

Tin foil can also help against those pesky aliens.

Stop using the microwave, fatty. Tell the girl to get back in the kitchen and use the range. Problem = solved.
