http://forums.filefront.com/announcements-698/announcements.html

In 43 days(the 5th included), that announcement will disappear. Permanently? Temporarily? Will a new announcement be made, or will it just slip into the shadows of the internet? Can the emptiness the "Yes" announcement leaves behind be filled? On the 5th of October, 2010 A.D/C.E, the "Yes" announcement will have been active for 761 days(2 years, 1 month and 1 day). But on the 6th of October, 2010 A.D/C.E, it will no longer tell us that there is "Nothing to see here", and will no longer order us to "move along".

:(

If it wasn't there, it'd save space and a fraction of loading time.

I do not understand why it is. Cause. None of the announcements are ever put there.

My head asplode.

Maybe its very existence is such a mystery because our minds can't comprehend it? We see it as a mere announcement; two sentences that tell us there is nothing new happening on the forum and that we should continue to post. Perhaps it's there for a reason that we won't see until it is gone? As a matter of fact, I think I might just go get my long brown robe and start to preach the "Church of the Announcement".

Yes they are.

That's sort of a "fall back" announcement letting you know that there's nothing currently crazy happening.

The last time it was used I created a forum-wide announcement regarding the acquisition of FileFront by Break Media. Those announcements just have a shorter expiration time.

I still stay it's all a conspiracy involving the hording of pie.

It will either be renewed, or I'll find something more creative. =p

I'll replace an announcement with an obituary then.
