I'm going on holiday up to where I used to live next month to stay with my friends, and I need to get the best flight possible. I love flying with Qantas since they have never lost (plane crashes, but no one has ever died) a passenger, but it's $49 more than the Jetstar flight, and since the new rates in Australia recently, we wont have that much money.
- Food on plane (not sure about Jetstar)
What should I choose?

Walk..It's cheaper!;) Just use an empty can tie it to a long rope tied around your waist, Kicking it as you go!! Sooner or later you'll find yourself already there. Unless theres a huge body of water in between.
Qantas. Is your life only worth 50 bucks to you?
Seriously though, while you're not really gambling with your life, it's the creature comforts that make or break a flight. I've traveled with the budget operators and for short flights it's ok, but on a long flight, cramped together like sardines in an overly hot or cold aircraft and toilets closed because they're plugged, you'll wish you'd paid the extra $50.
When in doubt, gas it!
I hope your plane goes down in the mountains & you are forced to eat the penis of your dead co-passengers to survive.
Although I voted Qantas, I think I'd rather not fly on either airline seeing as though they get their planes fixed rather poorly at a cheap Indonesian docking place. Yeah, I saw it on today tonight. It was one of the few articles they've done that I thought held some truth.
When was this? I don't watch Today Tonight anymore, even though it's pretty interesting. Maybe a train? That would take 24 hours.
