I probably should have asked this in tech, but...
If I purchase a standing microphone and simply turn off my speakers and wear headphones while I use it, will the feedback be controlled the same as if I had an all-in-one mic and headphones set? I want to know before I spend the dough. :uhm:

Here's what you are going to do Red, trust me, its awesome, and amazing.
Copy this thread and copy it into the spam forum, delete my posts in the copied thread (here's where it gets awesome), then whisk it into tech.
Why? Well, its because I love my random jibberish that I throw onto the forums late at night.
Speaking of late at night, anyone remember that time when I stayed up until like 4 A.M. on here with Aeg and a bunch of other people and it was crazy, with mentioning of boobies as well.
You won't get any feedback if you just mute your microphone in the volume control. Of course, you won;t hear what you say, but others can still hear you in programs like TeamSpeak.
