My car was recalled (+REP TO WHOEVER GUESSES THE MANUFACTURER), and now I'm in a rental. Bit harsher ride, but way better fuel economy. Not really complaining...

I'm guessing GM. They recalled millions of cars very recently.

Yup. The steering was already trying to murder me. They finally just recalled mine.

John Oliver's show is really good. I didn't care much for the bit on FIFA (because let's face it, football fans are pussies), but I had no idea it was that morally repugnant.

Imagine a world if GM actually went bankrupt.

A world where Tesla Motors suddenly becomes the dominant car manufacturer.

Ah I can dream can't I?

Yeah, let me just get out my checkbook and write that $100,000 check because GM is gone.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Cooters on fire off the shoulder of General Discussion. I watched spittle-flecked posts glitter in the dark near the Pub. All those moments will

They're expensive now, yes, (right around 70,000) but ideally they'd get cheaper with optimization.

Also, I'm rooting for fully electric buses, shuttles, and rental cars. Dunno if that'll ever happen, but it seems like the logical way to make travel more affordable whilst simultaneously putting a huge dent in the climate crisis.
