First cigarette in three years or so. I'd forgotten how... ruthless... I become when I have a few of these things.

Driving home, someone filtered into my lane whilst I was maintaining a constant speed with a good separation distance as part of a queue. I honestly thought they were an instance of a great deal that was wrong with the world. If they could just join the back of the line like everyone else that was moving at a nice constant rate behind me rather than cutting in ahead we'd all have had a higher average speed without the traffic ripple so induced. But because they were defectors from the common good they fracked it up for everyone in the hundreds of cars behind them.

Like, education is about replicating viable neural circuits. Something had gone wrong... Execution seemed a proportional response to their transgression.

You wouldn't kill them in the normal day to day, but if you had a magical person-eraser that no-one would know you'd used... ¬_¬ I'd have been sorely tempted at the time.

Retrospectively it seems a little disproportionate. You get smegheads all over the place, if you start killing them you're gonna run out of people to run basic infrastructure pretty quick. But I wonder whether this is how some drivers, perhaps with less self-control, feel all the time. It would explain a great deal.

Some of the people on these boards just really need some good weed in them.
