'Tis snowing outside, which is a rarety in South Carolina (at least for now).

I think it's piled up to 2-3 inches now.

It's expected to change to a sleet-snow mix, though, then sleet-freezing rain, then ice-rain, then back to ice before it's over.

But, right now, it's snow-sleet, but more importantly, it's snowing!

we got an inch here in kentucky, some parts got 2 inches, we' supposed to get more sometime, school was snowed out to

The NWS website went on the fritz, and after it gets fixed, I learn that they were asking about (trained) reports of snow and ice accumulations. I would have called in, but the snow was melting already and about a half-inch was gone so I didn't bother (plus, the roads were pretty much clear).

And, yes, I'm a trained spotter.
