I'm copying all my music from my laptop hard drive to my external hard drive. And it is slow as anything.

Guess I'll just sit here and twiddle my thumbs.

Try using WD40, that should speed it up.

My advice takes only twenty seconds.

1. Unscrew covering over hard drive on laptop. 2. Yank out hard drive. 3. (Optional) Put in new hard drive. 4. (Optional) Place old hard drive in copier and press "Start"
