An urge to play guitar came over me. The kind of urge a diabetic gets to eat a piece of Russel Stover's chocolate out of a heart-shaped box that came as a Valentine's Day gift. I advanced to my room. At a speed faster than that of an ant running, I enter the room, my sights set on my Fender Squier. Not losing any of the speed, I grab my guitar and put the strap around me. I confirm the pick is in my hand. With a fiery impetus, I kneel down to grab the plug-in to the foot pedal that is connected to the amp. Without this foot pedal plugged in, the amp will emit no sound, and I will not have a wider variety of effects to choose from. I grab the plug-in. My grip was weak, due to me having to account for the location of my guitar. If I continued to proceed to the electrical outlet, the plug-in would surely just hit the wall and fall out of my hand, and then boom - I'd be back to square one. I moved my fingers around to ensure a tighter hold on the plug-in. I placed one onto the side of the metal tongs. Little did I realize how much of a catastrophic mistake this would be. Advancing towards the outlet with godspeed, the metal tongs make contact with the openings in the outlet. That's when it happened - faster than I could blink, a wave of electricity overthrew me. My vision went shaky, my skin crawling, and my arm in a tremendously small amount of pain or unusual sensation. Without even thinking, I drop the plug-in. "What the fuck!" In a state of shock, I place the Fender Squier on it's guitar stand. I walk off, doing a sort of laughing. Seconds later, I return to the scene. Cautiously, I attempt to plug the foot pedal in again. It felt like I was defusing a bomb. One slip-up, and everything goes "ZAP." *Click* "It's a hit," I thought to myself. I reach for my guitar. In a matter of seconds, I equip myself with the black and white Fender Squier. "+1 to awesomeness," I thought. As I proceeded to start playing, I noticed something was terribly wrong. But what? The little piece of plastic vaguely shaped like a triangle, it's not in my hand! Frantically, I search for the missing guitar pick. Finding this pick was of crucial importance, as it was my last one. Without it, I can't play guitar until my next trip to the music store in 5 days. The search goes for minutes on end, but to no avail. The blue piece of plastic was gone, and with it, my hopes of playing any guitar for the next 5 days. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have set up all of my guitar stuff around the floor vent.

Oh well. Good thing I haven't clipped my finger nails in awhile. :smokin:
