As you all may well know, there once was a little man called Splicer100. He then became Splicer101, but we won't go into that now. He got banned (obviously). However, he still sometimes pops into tinychat to generally annoy anybody and everybody who may be present, and one of those times was tonight.

The number of words in this thread is already way too high for what it is, so I'll just get to the point. He got talking about a figure of speech, and I isolated everything he said about it from the chatlog and made it into a paragraph that pretty much sums him up. So, here we go!

way to flog the dead donkey to death. get over it will you? you dont there is no need. the donkey is already dead. now stop flogging it. just get the concept and itll make sense. exactly. dont dig up bodies that have been put to rest. ah but im already in the ground. the concept of "to death" is that the donkey is already dead so you achieved it already so logically it would be wise to stop. its dead, and your trying to make it dead, if its dead its dead then stop trying to make it more dead. which would be pointless because its already dead, unless you are some pychopathic animal sadist for the love of god stop flogging it.

Yes. Quite.
