A certain man had a £50 note in his front pocket. He spent £20 on a DVD, and another £5 on lunch. He spent no more money and put the entire amount of change back in his front pocket. He went home and went to sleep. The next day, he reached into his front pocket and found only £20. No one had removed or touched the money in any way. What happened?

A mischievious boy was given detention at school by his wicked maths teacher. His detention was to last until he was able to write a number composed of only odd digits that represented an even number. He had the solution within seconds. What was the number?

Arrange three 2s in a mathematical equation so that the result is 16.

A kid goes to nursery and tells the teacher that it is her father's birthday and her grandfather's birthday on that same day. When the teacher asks how old they are, the kid replies "they are both 50 years old today". The teacher explains how it is biologically impossible for them both to be 50, and punishes the kid for lying. The kid was telling the truth, however. How?

Why do divers always jump out of boats backwards?

So that the force they would exert on the boat by jumping out forwards is not present, i.e. they don't tip over the boat.

You got the bald one and the mathematical one right, but the other two aren't right.

RevenWhy do divers always jump out of boats backwards?

I can't say I've ever seen a diver jump out of a boat backwards, but even still that isnt the only way. http://www.wetdawg.com/pages/under_tips_display.php?t=247&c=33 Also, Weiners suggestion would be correct according to this manual. <3 Google. The short answer: They don't.

When a man went to have his tonsils removed he found the process was called tonsillectomy. When he had his appendix removed the operation was called appendectomy. Finally, he had a growth on his head he wanted removed - what was this process called?

A haircut, or a shave?

Yeah, removing a growth on one's head can be called a haircut.

As for the diver solution, although Weiner technically voided the question with an also-correct answer, the one I was looking for was 'If they jumped forwards they would land flat out on the deck'.
