In this thread I will determine how much time will pass until work on Rogues can resume.

Now let's see. If I work only 4 hours a week at minimum wage even though I have egged my manager to give me more hours twice, I should get around a whopping \$116 per month. Funny how that used to be almost what I made in 2 weeks.

Now if we account for the \$70 monthly gas extortion and subtract 70 from 116, that comes out to making \$46 a month. Now consider that my bank account balance is at \$44 and the cost to replace my broken laptop is \$500. Factor in that little bit and \$500-\$44 is \$454. So how many months would it take to get to \$454 at a rate of \$46 a month? Let's find out!

454/46 is about 10 months. At this point it would be 10 months before Rogues work could continue. But wait, we're not done!

I also have a \$300 car insurance bill due this month! And my dad wants \$200 for paying off the first half of the entire \$600. Let's go ahead and factor in the new \$400 I'll owe to my dad before getting my laptop repaired (assuming he'll take \$100 off of this new debt to him like the first debt).

Actually let's just eyeball it. It'll probably be a year and a half to 2 years before I can get my laptop fixed to start working on your beloved Rogues again. Hunker down my darling fans - it's going to be awhile.

Unless I can get my manager to transfer me back to the old busy store I was at before so I can actually get more hours. Wouldn't count on it though. I think he secretly resents me and when I ask him to transfer me he'll say he can't because then WHO ELSE will be the drive thru cashier every Sunday afternoon? HE WOULD HAVE NO ONE. ELSE. TO TURN TO. And stupid job applications to other places all want you to fill out a freaking 100 question personality assessment that's the same no matter where you apply. The first 6 I had to do before ending up with this job were quite enough, thanks.

Now, which of the 5 games in my Steam library should I play that don't use over 800 MB of RAM...Lord kill me please.

When I was younger my friends and I used to go egging on Halloween. This activity consisted of hiding raw eggs in your candy bag and throwing them at cars, houses, and people you didn't like.

I'm not surprised your boss resents you for egging him, but I am surprised you still have a job.

When in doubt, gas it!

They weren't chicken eggs either. They were big. And had half-formed babies that he had to clean up.

In the time it took you to figure all of that out and put metaphorical pen to paper to tell us about it, YOU COULD HAVE FINISHED ROGUES.

My favourite part was how the title is "Time to do a little math" but instead just guesses.

If you've been dealing with minimum wage long enough you get quite skilled at eyeballing the cost of things you want ^_^

There was a little math. There would've been a lot of math if I hadn't eyeballed it, and this thread isnt "Time to do a lot of math"!
