Turtles' shells were never evolutionarily meant to stop an oncoming bullet.

Considering a turtles shell is rounded, it really depends on meny factors. Angle of the bullet, age of the turtle, shell condition and the such. It might hit it at an angle and bounce off with minimal damage. It might hit it head on and pearce it, and the local restraunt will be having turtle soup. Its hard to say :/

Naa,the bullet would most prob go thru.

Talking of turtles,I went to this weird Chinese restaurant once, and the 5 yr old kid of the owners was going around with a hammer (i'm serious), after a turtle...:( I never went back there.

Come to think of it, is a turtles shell even hard :|

How slow was the five year old to be going after a turtle.... i assume he hit it. Is that why you never went back? Im disturbed... i remember seeing some lads kick and smash a hedgehog in as a child now.

Well..let me describe it 2 u a bit

It was that house restaurant type of thing, right I was sitting with my family on a table in what would be the living room..

and then suddenly,a turtle walks out slowly from the kitchen (the door was open at the time) and the kid is walking behind it with a hammer.

Poor turtle, must have been smahed up sooner or later :(

Yes,thats why i never went back.

Yes,,its quite disturbing,eh.
