I do. They were the good ole' days. Those were the days developers actually gave a flying crap about important things like the graphics.

"Silberio"Wow, I do not miss the era of PC's with 2MB of RAM.

They were also the days you could look forward to big improvements in hardware and software. Now it's just like, "oh hey, another architecture with maybe another interface that I'll never use. Whoop-dee-flipping-doo. Will it provide any notable speed boost? No. Will it be more efficient? Maybe like 10%,  but it'll be another 5 years before it's worth upgrading for the efficiency boost. Will it inspire the next revolutionary game? See Mass Effect: Andromeda for answer. Will it have more transistors? Ya sure, but is that even a good thing? Will it let you stream 4k video? No, still limited to 140p-480p by ISP, depending on time of day. Will it stop Microsoft from spying on me? Probably not. Will it stop Windows from automatically scheduling a system restart in the middle of my game? Absolutely not. In fact, the next iteration of this hardware will probably give Microsoft exclusive control over your system hardware if the company deems it beneficial to their bottom line, regardless of what system resources you were using.

The thing is though, creativity can thrive under constraint.

I say can because, yes, a lot of shit was released back then, too.
