I had to reinstall Operation Flashpoint because it was becoming more and more difficult to play various addons due to my addons folder being over 5gbs large and often interfering with other mods. It's going to be a pain trying to find all the addons I know I will want to keep from what I had before...

You should burn that stuff onto a few cds or a dvd so you won't have to download it all if something goes wrong again.

The answer to your problems :Mod folders. I have over 15 different mod folders. My orginal Flashpoint addon folder has nothing unoffical in it. It's as pure as a virgin.

Tried the -nomap parameter on the target line? It takes some strain off the CPU for large amounts of addons.

That was giving me the most problems. [quote=Reven]Tried the -nomap parameter on the target line? It takes some strain off the CPU for large amounts of addons.

Yep.

Instead of deleting them, you could split the addons into seperate mod folders and then make a shortcut with the mod parameter. For example, you could have one of each kind of weapon you have in each folder. That makes your addon folder clean, which mods like (especially FFUR).
