There's five different brands. There's the californian, the texan, the New Yorkan, the Alaskan (mix california with Texas) and finally there's the cajun. The californian is what people typically assume has the standard "American" accent. The texan is a higher tone and even though it's stereotypical: most of them out there have a varied accent of "Yee-Haw". The New Yorken sounds like a well person from New York. You can usually tell their accents out. The Alaskan is a strange mix between Texan and Californian. In a way, you could call this a softer Texan. The Cajun is a fast tongue that is even "Worse" then Texan. So, any others I missed? Also, this is a guide to the other countries of the world that we all don't sound like Californians. I admit I do. Bah!

True, but usually it's either texan or cajun.

There's no such thing has no accent. I suppose we can call Midwestern "frontier". A monotone, similiar and related to Californian.

No,they have an accent, trust me. If I was to ask a fellow Californian if I spoke with an accent, they would say no. However, if I went to the east coast, they would say I spoke with a Californian accent. It all depends on how you were taught.
