I'm gonna ask the question that many are wondering what is the name of the alien planet. Now I know some of you are looking at this going DUH!!! but I've heard it many different way LV-324, LV-1201, LV-128. I thought it was the one I heard in Aliens but I saw something different in AVP2. I'mma very confused. I maybe dumb but I payed the $85.00 for the Alien Quadrilogy and I still don't know. P.S. - I Didn't buy the Alien Quadrilogy just to figure that out. I love the alien movies.

Right here goes....think this is how it goes.... The Alien home planet is never actually discovered during any of the Quadrilogy of films. Alien and Aliens both feature the planet LV-426 (where they find the first xeno and establish the colony in Aliens) but this isn't their home-world. The 'pilot' people (who created the ship the xeno's are discovered in during both films) - hence the term "pilot technology" - brought them there on their ship which (presumably) crash-landed. Alien3 is based on the planet FURY-151, a prison planet, obviously not their home planet. Alien Resurrection is only set in space...no planets involved (unless ur counting the earth at the end). Now...it's been a long time since I played the single players but as far as I recall, the planets in AvP and AvP2 (and PH) are other colonies that have become infested with the xeno's and they aren't an indigenous species. I guess that means that the home-world hasn't yet been mentioned - unless u bother to delve into the shit load of books that have been written (I haven't done this), it might say somewhere there. :uhm: Although, rumours are that the AvP Movie will visit the alien home-world. Ya never know, come August when it's due to be released, u might get the answer to ur question. :naughty:

rumours are that the AvP Movie will visit the alien home-world.

What rumors say that?, from what ive have read, the whole movie takes place in Antartica, in early 21st century Earth.

I dont know about avp1, but in avp2 and primal hunt, they are both set in the planet LV-1201.

Thank you for the answers. In AvP2 it's set on LV-1201 I must have gotten confused with numbers. I thought it was something like LV-426 because I heard it in Aliens when Ripley is in the board room telling them the story about what happened in Alien. That ship that crashed on LV-426 had all the eggs on it. It must have gotten the egg with a queen in it. But what happened to the queen? Hmmm, strange. But thanks for the answers.

I hadn't read anything on the AvP movie and visiting the alien home-world. Someone else had posted that on a forum and I was passing on the info...hence the 'rumour' part. Obviously not the case though. ;)

The 'pilot' people were asssumed to be breeding the aliens for some purpose. Similar to what Weyland Yutani is trying to achieve I guess. Although this has never been confirmed (due to the distinct lack of 'pilot' people ;) ), it seems a fairly safe bet. I guess that would mean they had an queen, as well as several others on board. The queen would be producing the eggs for new xeno's (the one's found in stasis fields in the 'pilot' ship's hull - in Alien), as well as the regular drones for study or whatever purpose. I spose they must have suffered a breach by the xeno's (they learn quick) which eventually lead to the ship's crash. After the crash-landing with the 'pilot' people dead and the planet without any idegionous life (this is said in Aliens), the surviving aliens and queen would have perished after a natural lifespan. This would mean the species became dormant there as there were no creatures to facially-rape, facehugger style. Think that makes sense.

rumors have it that the next aliens movie will take place there, I don't think it's the AVP movie, but who knows but my question is how would the humans get there? Unless were talking about the humans from the aliens movie and not the predator movies but by then the predators must also be more advance, would they not?. anyway as of yet the alien homeworld has not been found yet. And may never be found. For all we know that the aliens were made as killing machines like what they tired to do in A:R

Deridex:lol: Yeah, that makes sense, but Ive always wondered, how long can Xenomorphs live?
It's never been documented, as you might immagine. Estimations go in the hundreds of years. [iquote=Kain Dagain]Although, rumours are that the AvP Movie will visit the alien home-world.
Not likely. The movie is set in the not-to-far future and takes place in Antarctica. Besides, I don't think anyone is really qualified to show the alien homeworld except for Ridley Scott or James Cameron, asuming there realy is an alien homeworld. There's speculation that the alien species is already a biological weapon created by the 'pilot' species. And BTW, Alien3 took place on Fiorna "Fury" 161. If you're a big aliens fan, go here: http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Corridor/3119/ There's some real disturbing theories about how the alien reproduces (but essentially infecting our cells to create the embryo, much like a virus).
rumors have it that the next aliens movie will take place there [the aliens homeworld

Ridley Scott has voiced more than once his desire to do another ALIEN movie that would explore the 'pilot' species more, possibly delving into the alien's origin.

For all we know, the aliens could have been genetically engineered by the "pilot" people for some reason.

Big things are riding on the AvP movie, word has it that Alien 5, Predator 3 and Alien vs. Predator 2 all rest on the success of this film.
