'[mNo.55 halycon']do we know anything about the 'pilot' species besides the fact that they breed aliens? i fricking love the alien movies i've seen, but i haven't seen a few, so do they ever show the 'pilot' species in them?

A little in the first alien movie, like the space ship where all the eggs are, inside they show the skeleton of one of the "pilot" people, it had a hole thru its chest, made by a chestburster obviously. They dont really show them anymore after that, well except in the second film (Aliens), where they show the father of the little girl (what ever her name was) going into the "pilot" ship and coming back facehugged, but that is in the uncut version.

i just need to buy the damn quadrilogy!! i even work at best buy too, so that's all the more reason. getting it for cheap is a good excuse to buy it (not that the movies themselves aren't good enough reasons).

I've got the Quad. It's WELL worth it. Even if u have all the films anyway.

All the films are directors cuts too. Not just Aliens and the recent cinema release of the Alien directors cut, but Alien3 and Alien Resurrection have also been restored to their original extended cuts. Awesome. :nodding: And u know what, if u don't like the extended edits of any of them, u can simply select "Theatrical release" and it plays the original version. Ideal. :nodding: Besides that, there's a disc of extra's for each film and it's all bound together in a funky box. Makes u feel special.... Go get it!!

DeridexWhat rumors say that?, from what ive have read, the whole movie takes place in Antartica, in early 21st century Earth.

I dont know about avp1, but in avp2 and primal hunt, they are both set in the planet LV-1201.

the rumor is that we will see a glimpse of the predators abducting aliens from their home planet for a rites of passage trial for their young preds to face.

I have another question about LV-426 at the end of aliens does the whole planet get blown away at the end or is the surface destroyed? I can't remember what happens.
