I was on the GAME.co.uk website earlier and I was looking at Battlefield 2. They have two versions of the game available; a new boxed copy, or a downloadable copy. Which version do you think I should get? lol @ GAME.
Personally I'd go for the boxed version, you're not dependent on the download service that way and it seems to be cheaper judging by your picture. It's a really great game, by the way - the first expansion (Special Forces) added a lot to the gameplay. I used to play this a LOT a few years ago.
...either that or you buy it via Steam, should cost roughly the same as the download version.
The booster packs Armoured Fury and Euro Forces add a lot of new guns and vehicles, they were more fun than Special Forces in my opinion. Yes, buy Battlefield 2 and promise me you won't buy Battlefield 3. <3
I would go with boxed copy. Keep it forever.

I...kind of...sort of...pre-ordered it.
At least then, you'll have a BF2 themed glass coaster for when BF3 comes out, and you end up spending hours infront of your PC with your favorite beers on stand-by! :lulz:
The purple one.
Which one comes with the TF2 hats?
I wonder if I could actually play BF2 w/o raging now. So far, I'm 0 for 3 for DICE games when it comes to frustration overwhelming fun.
The booster packs European Forces and Armored Fury are free as of Patch 1.51 (or 1.50, can't remember). Buy the boxed version.
