Has Anyone else experienced the wonders of white noise in your ear, i've been hearing white noise for nearly a day now and i'm gonna go insane if it keeps up.

I have that sometimes, but as soon as it starts I concentrate on listening to it and it disappears after a few seconds.

Maybe you should give your ears some rest and don't listen to loud music, it sometimes helps, or so I have heard.

Yeah really loud music doesnt help at all. I listen to really loud music, every now and then I'll hear a ringing because of it, Ofcourse I stopped now but I have gotten use to the ringing. COuld be tenidous.

mine seems to be lasting ages it been going for around 20 hrs

mods out of interest why is this classed as spam, a discussion into white noise.

He posted it in GD, someone there probably didn't know what white noise is.

I also don't know what it is, I just assumed it's something problematic that affects your ears.

Well, if the discussion keeps on track and doesn't get spammy, maybe it'll warrant a move to GD.

Isnt white noise the same as what you hear from a radio thats not tuned into any station, or is that a different phenomenom?

White noise is like at the start of music tracks before there is any sound. If I recall correctly its noise recorded when there is technically nothing actually being played.

Not to be confused with Brown noise....
