Who is your ISP? What type of connection do you have? (dial-up/adsl/cable/satellite etc..) And how satisfied are you with their service? (poll/comment) I'm with Telus, enhanced adsl (2.5mb down/740k up) and lately I've been thinking of switching to cable. Telus used to be very reliable but in the last few months there have been more and more occasions when I have no connection. Could be because of their current labor disputes, I dunno. This, and the fact that cable companies are now offering much higher bandwith for the same price are making me reconsider my options.

When in doubt, gas it!

I have Cox Cable internet. There pretty dang good.

5Mbps speed 500-600KB a second on downloading speed Uploading is 100-200KB a second.

I really like my provider a lot but they would be better if they can give me 9Mbps like they are giving out now instead of the 5.

1&1 6mbit down, 584kbs up Works quite well, but lately there have been a couple of "slow" moments.
