EA should be blamed for making the US ground force imbalanced and overpriced...like this avenger.
USA relies more on airsupremacy than on groundsupremacy...
I never use USA though i've seen it used against me. I think it's a great way to stop scuds, although a paladin tank could also do this it does cost you a general point and only USA got's it :(
It doesn't stop buggies though
So if the USA has air supremacy, doesn't that mean it should have good anti-air defence aswell?
Avengers in my opinion are the most over-priced unit in the game. Even though I'm a GLA player, when I use USA I very rarely build them unless I have piles of cash coming in. $1300 is probally more realistic
Yeah, even 1500 would be better than 2000
but ur all forgetting that if ur only facing ground armies they can still target enemy units and increase ur other ground unit's firepower on that unit greatly.
LOL!! That doesn't makes it worth $2000 instead of $1500. I mean, the Speaker Tower upgrade for the Overlord Tank increases fireing rate and heals all units around it, and that upgrade is only $500!!! Because of the ability to make you units fire faster and better on ONE unit doesn't justify the $2000 it costs...
JP(NL)USA relies more on airsupremacy than on groundsupremacy...
Yes, I play USA pretty much only if I plan to use an air based strategy. China is a much, much better ground attack country. The Avenger is too expensive for me to use in great amounts I mainly use bombers to carry out my base defense attacks then use infantry with air and artillery support.
