i beleive the game is totaly balanced heres my opinion

USA = Best air force, you can take out alot of enemy with they right team of USA air units

GLA = Like bugs they keep on comming cause their weapons are so cheap and are very fast as well, so what they lose in power they gain in speed and numbers

China = Very strong ground units (OVERLORD in armor, Nuke Artillery in attack power) have good defence against troops and some tanks, but are very hard to learn how to use and china is very coastly and "EXTREAMLY" slow for the most part

so you see my fellow friends they are all good and they are all bad, it justs depends on how to use them in the right situation.

it's not all that hard 2 beat china with gla china is slow and bulky gla is cheap and they r survivors, u can bomb their base wreck thier tanks if 1 worker survives the fight goes on and there will b a new base within 5 minutes, k they don't have an airforce but they have tunnels, those babies will get your tanks all around the map in no time, just smuggle a technikal with a worker behind the enemey defense line by distracting the defenses with a bombtruck or some scorpions, and let the worker build a tunnel gla has 2 long range weapons, the SCUD launcher and the buggy, the scud is stronger than the nuke, so there!, 2 scuds take out an overlord(without propaganda tower that is) and a rain of buggy rockets is unstoppable they r so fast, no tank can catch em... the only down side of the gla is that they don't have strong tanks or an airfoce but u can build a scorpion tank in 10 seconds and if u have 2 or 3 war factories, some cash and the rocket upgrade, there will b no stopping u and your massive armies...

Read my other thread about "China players, I need help with the U.S. I HATE BOMBERS!!!". The aurora bombers are the answer to the chinese. Nothing defends against them. They will ALWAYS drop their payload before they get shot down. They are expensive but very effective. If you have the money, build 3 airfields with all auroras. A single aurora will take out a nuclear reactor. So you send 4 auroras to take out a super weapon then you put a single aurora on each of your enemies reactors. BOOM!! China has no more power (unless you build like i do then you always have 4 or 5 reactors to spare). Or if you don't target the reactors here is another option. A single aurora will also take out a gattling turret. So put a single aurora on each of the gattling turrets at the entrance to an enemy base. That entrance will be wide open for U.S. tanks and choppers to walk right in.

er 1 aurora takes out a Cold fusion reactor but not a Nuclear power plant. if that were the case, the chinese would constantly be out of power. it takes 2 for a nuke reactor. not sure about the gattling turret though, but seeing as to it takes 2 auroras to take out a US patriot missile and 2 for a stinger (3 to take the hole down too), it's chinese counterparts would be same.

I tryed to test all what been told, and here is what I found:

1 aurora can not take nuclear power plant, u need 2 1 aurora can not take gatling turret, u need 2 2 SF can take gatling turret. 3 Raptors can take Overlord. SF useless against tanks. 2 raptors can not take 1 MiG 4 patriots can take one of 4 migs. 3 rocket soldiers can always take one MiG 4 auroras can take SW 4-6 autoras can take command center gatling turret not effective vs tanks, good vs infantry. patriots very good vs tanks, bad vs infantry

I do see what you're getting at, US being at a disadvantage. But on the other side of the coin. The game is pretty well ballanced. The hard part about playing the US (and that's the side I've been playing since I bought the game) is that there's a lot more strategy involved to win a match. The learning curve is steeper for US than for China. You need to log some serious hours playing as the US, know the intricate details of each unit and how they work with other units... studied Sun Tzu's "Art of War", attended West Point or the US Naval Academy. It's not nessesary, but would help if you've served in the US military during Korean War (if your opponent is China) or Desert Storm (if you're playing against GLA). Like I said, steep. But that's the fun of play US - it's more strategy than brute force. The strategies mentioned in previous posts are academic. I have yet to be rushed by 3 Overlords. Normally, you get pimp-slapped by a guy who rushes you with a mix of 20 Gatt. tanks and Battlemasters.
