OK first, when I try to play the GLA mission it shows a scene where I am not in control then in mid scene it puts me in control and so far no matter what I try I am defeated and everything blows up within 10-30 seconds. What's the deal with that?
OK that may be legit and I just have to grip on the precise move to make, but get this.....In skirmish mode, If I set it on normal difficulty no matter what I do, within 20 seconds to a minute, my base just blows up spontaneously and I am defeated. If this is normal, the game is WAY too hard, but it can't be can it?
Also I see someone is on China mission 7, and in my game china ends after mission 2?!? I see absolutely no way of going on past the second China mission....the options being exit or replay, and no I do not have the demo version. What the heck is goin on?
How do you mean just ends, I have a friend who has the same problem.
I figured the problem in skirmish mode. You have to give the enemy team a number for it to work. I still want to know why the china mission just stops after two campaigns? It doesn't give me an option to go on.
And how the hell do you win that GLA mission where you have 15 seconds to do the right move?
theres no mission like take describe which 1 it is plz and ill tell u wots wot.
It is prolly that you didn't install the game right. I had the same problem i was always blowing up out of nowhere... The thing is that i didn't turn off my virus program when i installed the game, but in the manual it says that you have to turn off all virus programs and firewalls. Try reinstalling the game without any programs opened...
Hope this helps.
are you upgraded to the latest patch (1.5) ?
It was the thing about not running the virus checker during the install. I have never seen it have an effect though they always tell you to shut down all other programs. Crazy that it has the effect of everything blowing up. As for the patch, I usually don't bother for single player games unless they really need it, and also if they released it that buggy, they'd have gotten sued or something. I still think the game is a bit screwy.
Gotten sued? For a buggy game release?
There'd be a hell of a lot more law suits floating around if that were true...
OK well I guess I wasn't thinking there. If it was that buggy it would have gotten pulled from the shelf.....I still have never seen before any app that couldn't be installed with other things running.
