Well here is how I beat him

First get a good defense of stinger sites and technicals. Get rocket buggies as fast as possible. Build up on black markets to get money. You will have to stay on the defensive until you slow down his tank rushes. After you'll need to use a sneak attack. The best position should be next to his intenet center you should have at lest 13 Quad cannons 15 rocket buggies and 4 battle buses fuild with rocket troopers.

I hope this will help.

Whaha, you should make Angry Mobs, they destroy battlemasters easy. Take care of the Gattling Tanks with Rocket Buggies. By the way don't forget Jarmen Kell, he's verry important when playing vs a Tank General...

You really want a good defence first. I recommend building Palaces filled with RPG troopers around the areas in which the Tank General attacks and build Network tunnels nearby to kill infantry. For the attack build plenty of rocket buggies and battle Bus' filled entirely of RPG troopers.

I can't even make it through his first attack. I build stinger sites (and a couple of tunnel entrances) as fast as I can then he rolls in with three emporer tanks (which detect and kill my hijackers) and wipes them out. Please give me more details on how you guys beat this guy on the 'hard' setting. Thanks

ROCKET SOLDIERS!! Use rocket soldiers!!! They can stand a while against tanks, just don't use em against Gattling Weapons... Also get Jarmen Kell ASAP and build a Palace close to your defences and fill it up with rocket soldiers, it's the best bunker in the game. And he doesn't attack verry quick with Emperors, or at least you have enough time to get a Palace before his Emperors get to your base... Once you have a Palace start making Buggies and Battle Busses... Thats all!

Well i think the clue would be how to slow him down :p build a few stinger pots (not more then 3 because there useless vs emperor tanks) and a few gla holes about 2 next to your stinger pots and 2 behind your defence to defend your vehicles/buggies).

Build about 5 demo barrels in front of your defence, place them far enough from the defence so he'll have to disable these first, if he isn't using emperor tanks then this will blow up his regular tanks :naughty: , this will cost him a bit of time.

Now how to handle them. I usually play Demolition General witch is more easy then stealth vs tank gen but it' doable :) .

Build Scud launchers! place them in your gla holes and when the china tanks are close enough to your defence use these as a long range unit. Second use buggies with upgrades from your black markets (build 3 right after you get the palace).

the key is to attack and confuse him. Your stealth general build your buildings far away from eachother. Unfortunally china is THE perfect army to find your stealth buildings because of the gatling turrets.

Pick your jarmen kell and shoot the tank (preferably an emperor overlord) of the group, expecially while there moving this will couse a chaotic formation for the tanks wich will slow them down.

RPG Troopers/Tank hunters will not do much against emperor tanks, neither will battlebusses they will just get shot to pieces. It there just regular tanks or gatling tanks then they will do.

Agent__Smith Whaha, you should make Angry Mobs, they destroy battlemasters easy. Take care of the Gattling Tanks with Rocket Buggies. By the way don't forget Jarmen Kell, he's verry important when playing vs a Tank General...

I Agree on this, kill the anti infantry units and use the AK-74 upgrade from your palace.

beeb dont forget hijackers!

Hmm you could use thise units well but watch out for stealth detecting gatling turrets/tanks/radar vans. Nice trick is to capture one of his construction trucks and built some china units if you have the time, but for now just consentrate on killing his first wave of tanks

By the way, don't try using all these tactics at the same time it will drain your funds and won't get you anywere. Try combining a few. Try out possibility's and check the replay of your games to find out how your opponement is building, and what.

Good luck! report back on how it go's!

It was a very long and very hard fight but I finally beat the Tank General with the Stealth General (on hard). The key elements:

1. Three stealthed supply depots at the supply piles other than the main one by the command center. This gave me enough cash to: 2. Build Palaces (thanks yello-man!:bows: ) and stock them with RPGs. This, in turn, bought me enough time to: 3. Make lots of Hijackers. These guys, especially when coupled with Jarmen Kell, were great at stopping the emporers. With these three elements, I was able to hold off his (seemingly) endless rushes long enough to actually start building up an attack force. I went about it pretty slowly; capturing the oil wells, the fixed gun, the vehicle drop and the repair station before going in for the kill. By then, I had 4 scud-storms built so it was pretty easy after that. Thanks again for all the advice.
