I have heard alot of this tank rush strategy and had it agianst me!Most people seem to say it ruins the game but I think its more of a challenge than an annoyance. Who argees? :o

At some point every player has a need and use for tanks. Tanks are the most common Generals unit and also the most effective....
However, used alone they are about as much use as a chocolate teapot. I have lost count of the number of times my Battlemaster units have been torn apart by Missile Defenders/RPG Troopers when they attempt to storm an enemy base. Adding Gattling Tanks, Inferno Cannons et al eliminates the effectiveness of Missile Troops against you MBTs (Main Battle Tanks).
Tank rush alone is simply a minor irritation. This is a STRATEGY GAME. If your strategy consists on using one type of unit then you are doomed to failure. Tanks are easily countered.
Tanks supported by artillery, air units, special weapons, anti infantry units. Thats the way to do it.
Try this: 10 Battlemasters (Horde Bonus, Uranium Shells). 6 Overlords (Uranium Shells, Two Speaker Tower, Four Gattling Cannon). 6 Gattling Tanks (Chain Gun Upgrade). 6 Inferno Cannons (Black Napalm). 4 Troop Crawlers (Infantry Capture Building Activated). 12 MiGs (3 groups of 4, MiG Armour Upgrade, Balck Napalm).
In addition if you can have a nuke or two ready to go, level three artillery barrage and EMP pulse on standby most enemy bases will fall.
This strike force would be much more effective than say 50 Battlemasters with no supporting units.
