Metal PhoenixOne thing that's doubly unrealistic is General Kwai's Tank Drop. How on earth does the cargo plane manage to swallow the tank(s) (and take off with them)? And what the hell do they make the parachutes out of, Spiderman's Super High-Tensile Webbing?
heard of the c-5 galexy? it can hold 2 m1 abrams (spelled wrong, i know), there are parachuts that hold m1 abrams (spelled wrong again, i know)
Thanks for removing the word 'dipshit' at the end of your response up above exploder...
there are parachuts that hold m1 abrams
If that's true what are those parachutes made of?? M1A1 Abrams weigh around 60 tons

ever heard of the parachuts for space shuttle and sr-71 blackbird? those parachutes can hold way more than an m1a1 abams:moon::moon::moon::moon::moon:

lol, JP removed it. Which makes his reply unrealitic :uhoh:
The M1 Abrams weighs 70 tons. I knew the C5 Galaxy could tackle 3 helicopters, but isn't 2 MBTs kinda excessive?
As for the parachutes, I've never heard of any parachutes being used in the Space Shuttle, aside from those used in the solid fuel rocket boosters.
how about when it's landing.... 3 hugeass parachutes open on touchdown to slow it down. a tank is really not that big a deal strap say 3 parachutes to it and it'll be fine.
Try this. Look under the features of the C-5c. Can carry 6 Hueys too. EDIT: Thought I'd add (incase your mouse is broken): "In the airdrop arena, the C-5 Galaxy is capable of delivering up to 60,000 pounds (27,216kg) of equipment per drop. Standard airdrop operations include the following types of hardware: Hummers, Bradleys, tanks, road graters and Howitzers."
