I wonder how easy it is to hit a big target like a tank compared to hitting a MUCH smaller target like a soldier. Tank rounds aren't meant to take out individual soldiers, thats why they have mg's mounted on the turrets of most tanks.
The single thing this needs to improve is... Some kind of portable air defence for USA. It gets really annoying having to build all those patriots everywhere.
Humvees with TOW missiles and missile defenders normally do the trick.

I read something about accurency of weapons in this post, and it rememberd me of the past 1.5 patch:
1.5 patch fixes: BUGGY MISSILE TRACKING AFTER UPGRADE: Made sure the missiles continue tracking targets after the player upgrades the Rocket Buggy.
I'd say they should have let the bug in the game and made the missle damige slightly more, now all the missles hit there target exactly (allthough as GLA player this [COLOR=skyblue]does[/COLOR] come in handy :lol: )
Also Mr Powell posted a Backdoor tactics for the units, but there allready is if you check map editors once in a while (like i do :) ) In a map you can add serveral backdoor tactics for the AI and base defence radius (when units come into action). I don't know much about that, but it does exist, i think EA didn't use it much on there maps though :(
[COLOR=skyblue]Advance Combat[/COLOR] :rolleyes: Fuel for Airplanes perhaps? They can't fly forever :p
But the few things i want in the expansion are:
1. Naval Combat 2. Swimming infantry (i loved that in the Tanja in RA2 :D ) 3. A new super power?
GLA/USA/China: [COLOR=skyblue]Fences/Walls [/COLOR] against some for of stealth infantry who try to enter your base (offcourse burton will de in the advantige and the demo truck and other general units in disadvantige so that's a mindbreaker :rolleyes: )
GLA/USA/China: I'm not sure what sort of buildings shoudl be addes (in my oppinion there are enough) maybe a naval building for all races
GLA: 1. A fast (not as fast as a buggy) (low hp) demolition boad 2. sea/river Mine laying boat 3. A quick (medium hp) speedboat with a small gun wich can be packet with 5 or 6 garrisnable infantry units (no vehicles) with the garrisoned units able to fire from the boat (rocket infantry)
China: 1. (like mentioned before) a nucllier submarine 2. Transport Ship able to move multiple vehicles by sea (cause over land is soo slow) 3. Some sort of distroyer ship
USA: 1. fast moving (slow reaction time) Hoovercraft for transporting units by sea and land 2. Aircraft Cariër wich can launch aircrafts quickly and spot invissible units 3. Distroyer with large range (twice buggy range) shooting range and heavy damige shells
Not sure, i think the game is quite balanced out now, and i even don't know how to balance sea/air and land in gameplay (Warcraft 3 also didn't put sea battles into the game for game balancing issues :( )
Maybe another unit or upgrade for the hijacker cause that really sucks :d

See I thought about that a lot and weighed it up. Tbh theres just no way it weighs up to the power of the other sides anti air. For one the cost is pretty heavy on a humvee full of rocket men. And the humvee is just too weak, and far too much faster than the Crusader or the Paladin, so it dies way too easy. You'll see for yourself if your playing a game and you try to launch a heavy attack with the US. If its US vs. US, a number of any plane equal to the number of humvees you have is devestating your air defence for the troupe. Then they just need to swing around again and pick off the force. Or the ultimate insult... A Comanche attack. See with the other sides its far far better. Play the game a lot and you'll see what i mean.

I always use a humvee full with rocket infantry and unload them at the attack position, although if china attacks with a firestorm then you'd be toast again :uhm: but id does 5x300 + 1 hummer (about 2000) wich is quite alot!
I'd agree that USA should get some sort of anti air defencive unit/attribute. Raptors can also be used but ther's now way you can let them guard your troops cause a small group of quad cannons/gatling tanks will take them down easy then. It's a problem indeed.
Ps: Paladin tanks can shoot down enemy air attack but then again not every missle.........
i think that one HUGE element of teamplay that is missing is shring of resources, in most stratergy games you cna donate funds to your team members, and in RA2 you echnically couldnt but you could tell your ore minersto go to an allied refinery to drop off their ore, i think there should be a trading system in generals. also i think the usa should have some kinda mobile flack cannon, similar to the quad cannon, 4 barrels but firing flack so it isnt an exact coppy of the GLA, but at a slightly slower speed, then that would be good against horded air units like comaches. i also think both USA nad GLA need a good anti infantry defense structure, i know GLA have thetunnel with teh MG on top but it is POO gainst mass infantry ok so it can take out 1 man in a few seconds but any miore than like 5 and it has no chance, unlike gatling cannons, i think more GLA vheicles should be able to upgrade their weapons by pickups from dead tanks, and i think china should get a ground attakc upgrae for the mig, my idea was laser guided bombs, then before the player sends the migs off to target they msut set weather they want missiles or bombs (like you can change the type of scud fired) and then black lots can have a laser designator, she ten procedes to light up the building so that the migs can make their run (abit like boris in RA2), this way china have a eter anti structure air attack and it gives lotus another use so she can actualy destroy buildings. (when the building is laser designated by lotus the enemy should be able to see that thei building is lit up so they ahve chance, but not be able to seewhere it is coming from adn lotus should stay cloaked to give her a chance, so teh plyer has 2 search 4 her) Ilso think that gla should get something like an old mig-21 could be abit slower than raptor and chinese mig, and only have 3 normal missiles but it would give teh GLA atleast some limeted air power but it would be realisticly low tech and weak, but cheap and easy to build liek tehrest of the GLA stuff) what do u guys think?
Well, Personally I don't think that there should be any new units for those sides in the game. Game is almost well balanced, I'm saying almost because MiG's can hardly be brought down, and gatling cannon range is higher than should.
Many say that they want Real Life Game, well, it is a computer game... I don't think that EA should do dramatic changes like cost, accuracy... bla bla bla..
Some people complain about patriots, well, thats how the USA deal with heavy armor attack, if you been attacked by infantry, you have many options: 1- Rangers with flashbangs 2- humvees with soldiers 3- Comanche Attack Helicopter 4- Units with Tank Drones
It would be nice to have 1 or 2 sides, we have USA (america), China (Asia), GLA (ter), so it would be nice to have a Europian side, and Austrelia...
