i just wanted to know wut is a good newbie army
This is a way to build cheap and fast
Search somewhere for a modding tutorial (There might be one on this website) cuz I dont wanna explain now howto create those files, but when u have found out: Create the file: FactionUnit.ini and FactionBuilding.ini Put all of their data from the INI.big in it and set all buildcost and buildtime to 0 or 1 or in whatever u want it. Here's a way to give u one hell of a lot money: GameData.ini, set the DefaultStartMoney to 999999999 or whatever
Forget about Mods. They are for people who like to cheat. Maybe one that adds vehicles and units, yes, thats fine. Don't use them. They're lame and just use the training tutorial. Thats all you need, and eventually begin to play Skirmishes at the Normal difficulty level, then begin with the campaigns. Thats how i started with the first ever CnC.
A good army to start with is China. China is a little easier to figure out build strategies. And they have a brutal ground force. The key to China is to pump out 2 extra bulldozers to help build. Then you need to get your defensive perimeters set up, a propaganda center(required for hackers and overlords), then start to pump out hackers. Don't go crazy with building hackers though until you can safely defend your base. And keep them spaced out pretty good cuz if your enemy knows what he's doing or if you're playing the computer, the first thing they will go for is your hackers. I only see 2 problems with China: 1) They are weak in the air. I don't care what anyone says, MIGS suck compared to the U.S. commanche. 2)If you don't have oil to capture it takes alot longer to establish a good flow of $$$ with China than it does with U.S.
U.S. is a good army as well but there is a little more to the U.S. than there is China. U.S. can get the $$$ flowing earlier so you can build faster and they have a brutal air force (commanches rock!!!) but in my opinion China still dominates the ground.
