We've been around for enough time now, and have quite a few members thus far. More would always be welcome, though, and so I've created this topic to advertise our existence to all of those who might be willing to join. The URL below leads to our message boards, where I'm sure that you could find a wealth of information. Some key things to note, however, are that Torrential Downpour is for the most part situated in the United States, and that we already have a server up. You'll find that it frequents most gametypes, and so do we. We're out to have fun and don't particularly care how. http://downpourclan.proboards40.com/index.cgi
There probably isn't much of a point in bumping this thread, but I just thought that I should mention how it is that anyone can join right now. We currently have no restrictions placed on who does or does not become a part of Torrential Downpour. The only thing we ask of you is that you remain fairly frequent in game and on our message boards. In addition, and despite the fact that we are only a month old today, we have come a long way from being unorganized. For example, we have already established a schedule for our clan matches, Tuesdays at 8:30, Fridays at 8:30, and Saturdays at 7:30. All times are Eastern, and we will be passwording Saturdays to insure that some action does remain in our own ranks.
Yeah this board appears to be basically dead - no point posting here for recruitment.
Got any other places ya know of? Nobody from Atari forums has interest in clanning apparently, judging by the complete absence of click-thrus and people flaming clan threads all the time there.
Actually this is the only UT forum I've browsed in quite a long time where clan recruitment threads are ever replied to. :P
hey, ill be glad to join! :!:warning:!: im a serious noob and really suck at ut..... is that ok? i dont wanna suck up ur clan or anything soooo, if u only want people who are fairly good, then, that wouldnt be me....
It doesn't really matter, as long as you stay away from our more competitive teams if you would feel uncomfortable. Otherwise, you could gladly jump on our server for scheduled inner clan matches or at any other time, and participate on the message boards. We'll accept members as long as we can take them, it doesn't just last until we recruit everyone for our main teams.
