1. Is it possible in an animation to have something attached to something that's attached to something else? Example: A baboon riding a crocodile and the baboon is holding an axe. Or would I have to edit the models in gmax? 2. I cannot find the textures for most buildings, I can only find the shadows for them. Some buildings are actually there like the town center (I have already extracted textures.bar and searched the files from it. Buildings I cannot find the textures for are: Barracks, Military Acadamy, Longhouse, Storehouse, and Market (among many others), are the files listed under different names instead of "building g blahblahblah", or is something else wrong?

1) i believe so, if one item has something on an attach point, why cant that something have something on its attach point? try it out

2) as far as i know all the files are extracted when done right as described in coolsk8r32s modding guide

1. i don't think so because once you attach the baboon to the crocodile, there would be 2 attachpoints and when you add an axe, the axe would appear twice i think on the crocodile and on the baboon which won't make it look right. 2. the textures have a name but called building at the front so you have to look through most files that begin with building as a file name and behind it is the name you are looking for.

I'm not so sure. I know how to mod but I'm lazy and I'm not so sure if I'm a big help. I thought about it but i'm still not so sure.

You can add an attachment to a unit as it is attached to another. All you have to do is call up another define command for the axe. Then connect the axe to the monkeys attachpoint in its own define command. Ill type out a quick exsample. //================================================= define axe { set hotspot { version { VisualParticle Axe } } } //================================================== Then you just place the axe on one of the attachment points for the monkey (Not sure if the monkey has a attachment point on its hands or not) //================================================= define monkey { set hotspot { version { VisualParticle Monkey connect RightHand axe hotspot } } } //================================================== Now the monkey should be holding an axe while riding the croc.

uh, the monkey doesn't have hand attachpoints. lol, and why did you put VisualParticle Axe?? It's just visual attachments n axe throwing or w/e, lol particles are for SFXs...

lmao...sorry bout that...was in a hurry. Just copied and pasted without looking and made the needed adjustments. I didnt think the monky did have any APs on his hand. Was just using it as an example. But you can add attachment to units while they are attached to other units. Found that out a few weeks ago while working the AoM Dragons mod. Even now I have Dragon Rider carrying shields and spears and such while riding the dragons. Again sorry bout the bad exsample. Was just in a hurry..lol
