use the camera track and cinematic mode trigger effects. if u use cinematic mode, make sure to hav a timed/ other working trigger that turns it off, wich is the same effect but u click the off button. if u dont trigger cinematic off then you'll be stuk in aom and hav 2 Ctrl+Alt+Del out of it - its a pain, so make sur 2 hav cinematic on and off triggers, as well as camera track and other effects triggers (depending on what is in your cinematic) Download my campaign "A Greater Challenge" and put the scenarios into the map editor to find out how to make cinematics.

<< Download my campaign "A Greater Challenge" and put the scenarios << into the map editor to find out how to make cinematics. How do you put the scenarios into the map editor ? I tried it but I must be missing something. Thanks, Moshe

Place the .scx or .scn file in to the AOM/Scenarios folder. Then go in to the editor and click open.

I am still having trouble finding and downloading new maps. All the files I find are map scripts with *.xs extension. The editor would not open such files, it only allows to open *.scx files. The problem is that I can not find any *.scx files, and I don't know how to convert *.xs files to *.scx files. Any ideas what I should do? Thank you, Moshe

Any files with the extension .xs are random map files and therefore cannot be opened in the editor. The only way to edit them is to learn random map scripting. If you want to play the maps place the .xs file in the AOM/rm folder. For the record you cannot convert .xs files to .scx files. Sorry.

That is interesting. With all the MODs and utilities that we have around, there is no utility to extract a map from .xs file and put it in .scx file? If that is the case, where can I find a large selection of maps (.scx files)?

Same sites - AomHeaven & AOMFiles. Only this time go in to the downloads section and look under scenarios.
