I didn't make it!
The first time that I opened up the Unreal Tournament Editor, I was pretty much overwhelmed. Although I would like to learn eventually how to pretty much edit whatever I want through the editor, I have a few preliminary questions.
How easy would it be to change the model and sound of the assault rifle from Unreal Tournament 2004 to the sound and model from the assault rifle from Unreal 2 The Awakening? If it's easy enough, how would I go about doing that? And if it's something that may be a little complicated for a first venture into the editor, would someone be able to do that?
Secondly, I had been thinking about the increase in interest in Halo Mods and Models in Unreal Tournament and, while I believe this to be completely out of the range of my abilities thus far, one addition to all the mods so far, I though of a grenade mod (not to say it hasnt been thought up already). For someone that is experienced in editing UT2004, I wouldnt think it would be difficult to change the grenade launcher animation into a throwing animation (a la Halo) and give the player the option to throw plasma grenades. The grenade launcher's grenades already have the sticky property of the plasma grenades of Halo and they follow a ballistic trajectory like a thrown grenade. All it seems it would take is to change the firing animation, and the model for the grenade.
Anyways, those are my suggestions and/or questions. Responses will be appreciated, but are not expected.
