So I'll be coming out soon on AoMFiles with some new titan mods, and I've figured a way to edit the titans' models, which I hope all of you modelers already know.

For those of you who don't and want to get around having to buy Granny and edit the titan models for about $10,000, look in the aomx extracted models.bar folder. (If you don't have one, extract models2.bar to a separate folder) In there you will see all the titans' animations in GRN format, except for the death anim, which comes in BRG and in GRN format. Now as well all know we can't edit GRNs without buying Granny 3D, but we CAN edit BRGs, very easily.

Just convert / import the death model into GMAX, the right-click on the Animation timeline (with all the numbers and marks etc.). Click Filter>All Keys. Select the titan in GMAX. Now, you can manipulate the animation with the blue keyframes.

I'm getting better at animating so I copied the BRG import script and edited it so there is no ending loop frame at the end which can make some animations look real ugly. That way I can make every keyframe exactly as it should be! If you want this script to see what it does differently, just Instant Message me (see below).

I'm thinking of making a Karate Titan or something, lol. So, just wondering, how many people already knew how to do this??? AIM: CoolSkater069 or AOM CoolSk8r32 MSN: Coolsk8r32@comcast.net If you want to learn to mod, and if you learn to mod and get sort of good, and want to learn AoM-compatible modeling, just use the above IMs to contact me (preferably over spring break ;)) and I'll set up a time to teach you.

coolsk8r32, i tryed modding with one of your guides (the newest one) i got totaly lost and had to unistall my game cause it screwed somthing up(my fault i think i deleted somthin....) but i couldnt figure it out so i went in-game to try to figure it out and found a way to mod for idividual scenarios using the triggers. still need help making cinimatics though, got any advice on those?

You're asking the wrong person mate. Coosk8r32 left the AOM community about a year ago and hasn't been back since. If you want modding advice you'd be better off going to AOM Heaven's forums and asking there. They have a wider community than gaming forums.

I know he's starting up AOE3 files. Maybe it has something to do with that. But I know for a fact that coolsk8r dropped aom ages ago. I was working on a project with him and a few others when he dropped out.
