I had AOM on my Win XP once and had so many mods that I wanted to have a fresh game again. So I erased it all and tried installing again. But now once I get to the choose multiplayer or single player screen it just crashes to desktop. Any takers on why this would happen? It has worked before, why won't it work now? Was there a windows update that conflicts?
Jim
Ever thought about reinstalling? Wait no. You said it doesnt work... lemme think... Do you have all the latest patches? And this is another reason why I wanna be a mod! Its in the wrong thread! Theres too less people in the aom forums! Shimmy should be stripped of his mod title and it should be given to me because shimmy doesnt post nemore!!
ah well we can't do that... *waits for mod to move* um, after you reinstalled did you delete the age of mythology folder in program files and THEN install? because if you didn't, that creates some problems.
Look @ MY AVATAR. n0e edited my profile.
post things in the right forum next time.
Thats also another reason why I want to be a mod.
why was monkey banned...
Sorry if I put this in the wrong thead, but this seemed to me to be the correct one. Let me know which one I should have put it into.
Secondly, I bet I didn't go through and erase (or at least move to a new location) any leftover files. This I will do before the next install. Thank you for the help.
I like your avatar. :)

Why would you want to go through and erase all files b4 you install? Just click star---->settings------>Control Panel--------->Add/remove--------->remove aom. Dont erase files manually. itll screw your computer and registry.
