When ever i try to start AoM i get an error Message that says there is a debugger detected and that i can't start unless i uninstall teh debugger. But Windows comes with a debugger, so it is on everyones computer, Why does it hate mine so much? I have tried to reinstall but it still doesn't work.

I haven't gone backto make sure that the install folder is dtill there or not, I will try that the next time i need to do it. I just reinstalled it and it seems to be working for the time being. Thanks for your help.

I finally got rifd of the debugger problem, it had something to do with me sound card starting up when i started my computer and for some reason the game didn't like it. Now my problem is that about ten minutes into the game the whole thing freezes up. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I can't find and updates for my video card. I have looked at the event viewer and it says something about the CDROM and a file missing so i thought that it was a problem with the CDROM but i guess that the game only uses the CDROM to start the game after that it runs off the hard drive. Someone else suggested reformatting that hard drive but i will only do that as a last resort as AoM is the only thing that i am having problems with. Any other suggestions from this forum? PLEASE HELP!!!

Nah, I'm not good at that kind of stuff, I managed to solve the problem I had thanks to microsoft. I wouldn't have been able to do it myself:uhoh:
