I'm having issues getting 2K4 to load any gametype besides Deathmatch. I'm uninstalled, reinstalled, and came up to the latest patch (x30 or so.) I've also tried running it in compatibility mode with all the options. But for some reason, the hard drive isn't spinning! It's like God doesn't want me to play Onslaught anymore... Specs: Toshiba Qosmio G25 1024 MB RAM 128 MB NVidia GeForce 6600 Go Media Center Edition 2005 (with Service Pack 2) Two 60GB drives - configured RAID-1 (Mirroring) Could it be Media Center Edition that's causing the problem, even though I tried running in compatibility?

Have you tried disabling Preload Player Models?

Well, that's about the only thing I'm qualified to suggest I'm afraid...

Ahh. Let me think and get back to you on it. I've never heard of Media Center Edition 2005? What is it exactly. (Post will be edited later when I have an answer :) ).

Sorry for me being a complete idiot! Try turning off backround programs that are not important like Steam or MSN.
