Ok i have installed BOTH UT2003 and 2004 they installed fine... or seem to have... but they wont run they do the splash screen then just it vanishes and nothing...

I am running: Mandrake Linux 10.0 2.4ghz P4 512mb ram (yeah its not much but the linux pc is a laptop...) ATI Radeon IGP330m/340m/350m (U2) 4337 (thats the linux discription of it... all i know is its ati and 64mb...)

ur video card is the problem get a newer ati card that ati supports or get a nvidia

oh and also my graphics card should work with 2003 as my laptop was new in december 2003, so thats not the reason i dont think...

even so, laptops aren't made for games, at least not the heavier ones like the Unreal-series. Ever tried scanning your PC for viruses, and.. maybe UT just doesn't like your Linux version :/

its freshly formatted and not net connected, all data that goes in it is scanned first anyway,

i THINK its a driver problem now... i have posted in tech about that though as its causing more problems...

no worrys thanks for the help,

its defanatly driver cause the standerd linux games are running at 5fps and thats just not rite...
