Can't someone explain this? UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-03-03_02.42] OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600) CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1101 MHz with 511MB RAM Video: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 (7803) Failed to enter MuralisLogo.ut2: Can't find file 'MuralisLogo.ut2' History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine
:uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:
Explenation: it means that ut2004 was searching for the entry map MuralisLogo.ut2 in 'c:\ut2004\map' or 'c:\ut2004\muralis\map' and didn't find it,so it couldn't start the game. the fact that this appeared can refer to a totally wrong installation ,thus not only the MuralisLogo.ut2 entry map. My advise is to reinstall muralis, following step by step the installation instructions in the read me file if you're new to installing mods. otherwhise give us some more specefic information. Eg. what version did you use zip/ut4mod, the link of this error with frag ops (muralis is a different game) and how you installed it. Assuming you have messed with the zipfile, if you have just extracted the zipfile in your ut2004 map (like c:\ut2004\muralis\) and you got the error message then this means that you should open this map (muralis or whatever name it has) and select ALL submaps (maps,textures,staticmeshes,sounds,music,...) cut them and paste them in c:\ut2004 overwriting all other maps. the fact that it's a different gametype, you don't need to be scared for overwriting retail gamefiles. On the other hand if you did this AT FIRST and it gave you the error message then you need just to extract the zipfile in c:\ut2004 and leave all files in their place!. for playing simply browse to the muralis play icon and click it. (note c is just the drive where you installed ut2004, so it could be any drive-letter as long as you installed the game on that drive) There are different methods to tell ut2004 where to search for maps/textures/music/sound/system etc.. files just by specifing paths in the ut2004.ini ,but as I don't have enough info about your problem i can't explain in this case. Last but not least, keep your game patched to the latest version (3369 for the moment) cause some mods will crash when applied on non-patched games.
