No one seems to post here. I hope it's okay. Got X64 bit? Better play UT2004. http://amd64downloads.filecloud.com/ut2004.asp I wonder if it's really any better or it's just a port?

It is as long as it's UT related.

Are you referring to a 64 bit processor?

If so, I have an AMDx64 3000+ Socket 939 (quite fast) and it makes a good difference overall on my computer, and a decent one on UT2004 as I can play the game on 1024 x 768 on the highest settings as long as anti-aliazing and anisotripic filtering are off (I only have 640mB RAM and a Geforce FX 5200 128mB video card).

So, yes, it does make a difference, but only a decent one.

It would be hard for the graphics to get even better considering that game's GFX are amazing, I am doubtful that 64bit processors will make a big difference.

Well, it won't improve the graphics directly, but it should (in theory) give a performance boost to the game when running on a 64-bit operating system (like the recent Windows 64). Unfortunately a 64-bit CPU on its own won't have any benefit. Even more unfortunately, Win64 sucks, and some people who've downloaded this patch say it actually decreases their performance. Personally I wouldn't recommend a 64-bit operating system, so therefore I can't recommend this patch. ;)

Hah. X32 triumphs over X64. True, true, UT2004 is not the best [or maybe it's not even acceptable] benchmark available for comparisions of X32 vs X64. http://www.amdzone.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=185&page=1
