A new Warcraft III The Frozen Throne campaign is in the works. The Fall of the Eldars Also known as Project Lockhart This campaign will be a massive undertaking, bringing Warcraft III to a whole new level. It is a combination of many of the best elements of many RPGs, such as the materia system from FF7, Item crafting that uses gathered resources from small creeps like rabbits. Deep plot, but filled with enough cool stuff in between the cutscenes to make it worth playing some more. Attack turn based combat, to bring back the feel of those fantastic games and many more, This project is no small feat to finish, and my team is already working hard, but we need all the help we can get. Currently we are dire need of people who are skilled at editing/creating models, as well as those well-versed in skinning and creating textures. For more info about The Fall of the Eldars, or to offer help with TFOTE contact firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the team leader on xfire, name:girlsgonemild I will post screenshots as soon as possible.
as of now, the team is working on a new interface in which the player interacts with the ai much more using typed chat commands for example, being able to have a conversation with an NPC, using typed sentences. Or making choices using lists and chat strings Project Lockhart is on schedule
The Project Lockhart team is taking suggestions for major character/boss names, as most good names have been taken and cannot legally by used. Also, for the full campaign story copy,(not the shortest of documents) please email the project teamleader at email@example.com We need reviews for the story, and feedback Before I forget, A concept in the works is the use of chat strings to give orders to all allied units. Commands such as "Hold your ground" and "Attack" are being added in as triggers. Or you could select a specified number of units, such as footment to guard an area. For example: type in "guard here" and it will ask you what you want to guard(which you choose by a targeting circle), and how many units you want to guard it. We are talking about maybe giving advanced strategy types later in the game, such as "set up ambush" or "build defense perimiter' but that might be too complex for the system to handle, so its still debated.
seriously, we need people who know how to do this stuff. Otherwise it will take the longest time for the normal team as it is. 1 thing to add: We are looking for someone who can look at a screenshot and make a model off of something in that screenshot
