The title sums it up. I really need help. I want to make a map pack that changes the gameplay so that it's more of a classic strategy (AoE II). I was reading a tutorial on skinning and it said that when you finish the skin, convert it back into blp. The problem is, I just got gimp and don't know how to do that and I google tga to blp converter and got nothing. I need help!

Doesn't the tutorial say which program to use? Shouldn't the program you use to extract it be able to convert it? Well anyways, try: WC3 Image Extractor II - Wc3Campaigns

I have the image extractor. Here are the steps to make a skin for Warcraft III: 1. Open the skin with the image extractor 2. Save the skin as tga (or whatever format you'll use to edit it) 3. Skin the file 4. Save it as blp 5. Use the import manager to import it into the world editor

I'm stuck at "4". Gimp doesn't have a tga to blp converter... that's what I need. A tga to blp converter.

I'm not sure if the image extractor can, but it should have an option for converting tga into blp...

Either way, check Tools - The Hive Workshop - Warcraft 3 Maps, Icons, Spells, Tools, Tutorials, Skins, Models, Campaigns, Scenarios
