how do i make it so when a unit spawns it is holding the special effect already.

just create a special effect to last created unit straight after the "unit - create unit bla bla bla" (you want the Special Effect - triggers) e.g actions create 1 footman for player 1 re at position spawnarea special effect - attach bloodlustspecialeffect(whatever it is) to hand left of last created unit
