Part 1

To download maps (from WarCraft3Files) we'll use DoTA as an example: http://warcraft3.filefront.com/file/DoTA_Allstars;43163

Next Find the "Click here to download file" Link

Next click the "Download Now" link, that appears next to an american flag.

Now Click "Download Now" image, that has an arrow around it

Find a server in the list you are happy with and click it

Now follow the instructions it gives you to download that link to your desktop

Now right click the file and choose "Extract File" from the list, and click next twice in order to extract the file.

Finially open the file and do as Part 2 says.

*******************************************************

Part 2 First, you need to right click on your start icon. Find explore from the drop out menu and click it.

Once in your "Explore" mode locate "Program Files" on the left side list (Or whatever directory you installed Warcraft 3 In)

Find Warcraft III In the folder list that emerges and double click it.

Next open Maps -> Downloaded.

Now simply drag and drop your downloaded maps into this folder and close it, restarting Warcraft 3 if neccessary.

If you have any questions, or wish to add anything, leave a post, or contact me.

I don't want to be the whining guy or something, but you've got to be quite stupid not to know how to "install" maps without this "tutorial"...

Call us whatever you want, but truth is noobs exist, everybody is a noob at a given time, i recently acquired this game so it may not be so simple to me as it is to you..

Well anyway I've downloaded the warhammer 40k map pack and I've placed the maps that come with that map pack inside a folder called "downloaded" that is inside the Warcraft III/Maps folder. Now what? I've tried going to the custom game menu and choose the maps and launch them but it doesen't launch anything. And I can't see the player/team/color/handicap selection buttons. what am i doing wrong?

Thanks is advance:bows:
