Does it seem every time you get on the play all you can look forward to is getting my ass kicked beacuases of these following reasons
1. Your ally(s) suck ass=cause your downfall:wtf:
2. The other team is much better than you:spank:
3. People enjoy using cheap strdgys (the same cheap strdgys):bawl:
4. You try using thoses same cheap strdgys but they never work out for you.:wtf:
5. Going easy on a noob and then end of getting your assed kicked many beacuse you wne easy:inthetoilet:
6. You decide to use a diffrent race and you loose:curse:
7. you liston to your teammates advice and not your own:KTA:
9. Read 2 and back:faq:
10. someone hates you:donitz:
good for u
1. Your ally(s) suck ass=cause your downfall
Play auto-no ally issues then
2. The other team is much better than you
Happens in any game
3. People enjoy using cheap strdgys (the same cheap strdgys)
Again happens anywhere-people play to win, and love to abuse and think they are so pro
4. You try using thoses same cheap strdgys but they never work out for you.
Because the other team expect them and thus is prepared to counter them
5. Going easy on a noob and then end of getting your assed kicked many beacuse you wne easy
What you start playing normally, and when his can't reall reataliate, you slow down, and start giving tips like--you know, it's better to have more simple listening posts than a single one with the upgrade etc
6. You decide to use a diffrent race and you loose
Depends on your gaming ability. It's actually a + for doww. It shows that the races are quite varied
7. you liston to your teammates advice and not your own
Why hate dow for that?
completely valid tactic
9. Read 2 and back
So the other team is much better, and?? [quote] 10. someone hates you [/qoute]

Training is the only key to achievement. How many times do i notice players using unupgraded troops, thinking their army is unstoppable and... well, get crushed. Have a closer look at your replays and try to see how your oponents played, what errors have you or your team comitted? What did they do that you did not do? You've noticed they always use the same lame tactics? Find the parade. Everything can be stopped, just needs the right tools for that.
Played a couple of games earlyer, one ennemy kept sending termies and dreads in my base, i kept my preds and termy army close to it since they just kept coming, they didn't even have time to do significant damage before every new squad teleporting in got wiped out, the dread merely had the time to hit a building before being brought down by the Preds. Meanwhile a groupe of assault marines and cloaked scouts sneaked to his unprotected base. Finally the dread and termie rain stopped (we were playing QS, i checked the replay, he never cared about power generators... ran out of power) and that's the exact moment i was waiting for to strike with my ASMs and Scouts, the ASMs' melta bombs blew the orbital relay up, leaving my base finally clear and my main force available for the orbital assault... He dropped out.
Other situation, other battle, a 4v4 compstomp that ended up in a 2v2v2v2 fight, we were 2 IGs together and entrenched, under constant assault of basic comp troops while the 2 other guys took care of their comps. Later on the replay i saw that the opposing Marine player never cared to upgrade his troops hp & aim, only used HB squads and kept his (unequipped) termies in reserve. He even kept his FC on ranged. Well, while his army was struggling against a comp ours got to his base (2 baneblades, 2 LRs and 2 chimerras filled with troops) and destroyed everything they could find, but he still had time to start an HQ elsewhere. We went further and got stuck in a 360° fight: marines on the rear, Taus on the right flank, necrons (other human) on the left. Since that marine player sent his troops piecemental, they were easy kills for my plasma squads, the baneblades were both destroyed (but quickly replaced): They concentrated their fire on those two while my troops were annihilating their armies... and with no army to defend your base, you're toast.
Just keep this thought in mind: bring the battle to your opponent and fight where you want to fight him, lower your casualties and kill as many opposing troops as possible at once, if you break his line you have the chance to win... but you've got to be quick.
Kendall youre strategies just needs some polishing and do remember that there is always a bigger fish this holds true even to you.
Rusher's are a pain I'de agree to that that's why I shy away from any online rts that has basebuilding I frefer tactical RTS games w/out basebuilding these type of games are a rushers nightmare.
Yes I played Grund Control it was anything But tactical!!! Try Myth Instead , And theres no art in rushing just a matter of who's can point and click the fastest!! I used to do the same during my C&C and starcraft years.
What do people have against rushing? Seriously everyone! and I mean just about everyone on DoW will rush! when you play online, if it's qs who cares you have a giant stack of resources, on standard however it can often be crucial, personally I don't get pissed off when someone rushes me or uses some impressive tactic of harrasment that actually works (raptor harras is NOT and example of a good harras, that thing is lame and doesn't work at all), I won't say rushing is the only way to win, but honestly do you turtle or something? because it's not exactly difficult to rush now.
As far as cheap strategies go, if it works, accept it! There's nothing you can do about it, and perhaps they don't work for you because your against a particular race that counters it (for example orks are very good at stopping early harrasment as they have a large amount of building mounted weapons).
Also MW what's wrong with FC on shooting? It's probably more effective nowhere days because people will literally dance and run away form you FC, using alot of microing and eventually he'll be dead, whereas (even with the bolt pistol) he it incredibly effective on shooting, even on marines he does a fair bit of damage and can make light work of a resonably sized marine sqaud early on, also when you're tier 2 with him and you have inspiring aura you don't want him to run off and not give your troops that lovely bonus do you?
Kendall to be honest most of the points you've made ought to make you think, is DoW the game for you?
