It depends on the map actually maps that have req points that are far and few in between are a rushers wet dream while maps that have very close req points are their bane that is the reason why most rushers hate Kasyr lutien.

Dude in a box;3706717 Also MW what's wrong with FC on shooting? It's probably more effective nowhere days because people will literally dance and run away form you FC, using alot of microing and eventually he'll be dead, whereas (even with the bolt pistol) he it incredibly effective on shooting, even on marines he does a fair bit of damage and can make light work of a resonably sized marine sqaud early on, also when you're tier 2 with him and you have inspiring aura you don't want him to run off and not give your troops that lovely bonus do you?

It's just that i found him way more efficient in close combat attached to a GK squad in the same attack group which contains assault termies (with attached chaplain) and regular termies (with assault cannons and attached Librarian). If that group gets into a low protected base, they can do pretty much damage, even more if you send a Dread at the same time.

But that must be 'cause i'm mainly playing my RavenGuard style: hit hard right where it hurts, while the rest of the army is slowing the ennemy down or keeping him busy away from his vital structures.

Concerning rushes, they're pretty efficient in standard games when your opponent doesn't know when to fall back and just sacrifices his troops (and money). How many times have 2 ASM squads and my FC pressed a blade on the opponent's throat...

Oh, and one little thing for Kedall, instead of doing basic multiplayer games, try a few compstomps, that's another way to enjoy online gaming.

Rushing doesn't even need tactics, It relies more on reflexes than actual Strategy involved. You people are lucky that them koreans(the best online rts rushers) never really got into Dow or you will be having problems up to your noses.

That's late game. Whereas his shooting is quite deadly in t0,1,1.5

Also your GK sqaud benefits more from having a chaplian attached, seeing as that mega healing boost is exactly what makes SM so imba at t2

All of those are excellent reasons why I dont play DoW online unless I'm bored, or with friends. Rushers just suck. Thats all there is to it. They are unable to come up with an effective strategy, so they mass up on one unit and attack move their way to your base. Thats the fastest way a person could end up on my list. I mostly go online looking for a new experience, but its always the same laggy, rushing I've come to expect from the "professional" side of humanity, which is why I stay away from most online gaming other than MMORPGs.

But this can be attributed to almost every single strategy out gmae out there. Probably with the exception of a dedicated porc in ta

Yeah... Too bad there isnt a way to sort out the rushers from the people who just want a good game. This would solve a lot of rants for almost every strategy game.
