A mix of EaW/DoW in a battlefront style? Wow..that'd be the like, the best game since pac man, meaning of course..it'd be a sensation. The whole country would know about it and stuff. It'd be like, universe vs universe, of course, the story would have to be...odd. But still, you could get the four main sides of star wars against the original DoW's races. You'd see an ork about to cut a rebel's head off..only to be met by a clone's rifle, and that clone gets a good look at a Marine's bolter. That would be so cool, I want it now :bawl:

lets see.... all the troops in star wars are armed with lasguns..... or are they plasma rifles? hmmm..... i hope lasguns. that versus my marines? the emperor's finest will triumph yet again. i may have a few troubles with that AT-AT with dual lascannons, but thats what warhounds are for.....

and i do believe space is almost as much a part of the W40K universe as is land. someone was making a 40K mod for EaW but it got scrapped (much to my chagrin), but i'm really looking forward to the BFG mod (may it come soon...)

After I thought about it, I dont really think that space battles will work with DoW, I mean, look how badly even necrons have the imperium bested... Either that or the techies at Relic will be doing some major balancing. But then that'll take out all the fun in having a giant particle whip hit a Imperial Navy battleship...

its plasma rifles dan, if it was laser it would be a beam not a bulit like projectile, just think tua rifle but cooler. what do you think when i say Warhammer, i think of choas and marines hacking eachother into peaces on some alian battlefeild, not star fighters ziging and zaging evry where. wharhammer is focused on the battledfield and massive scale warfare, space battles , though they do exist in 40k, arent the thing wahammer is centerd around. so if you wunt asom space battles play EAW but if you wunt grewsom land warfare play DOW, no mutch else i can say

Eh, i've moved from EaW to DoW. Modding is extremely easy, but the game engine lacks.....

I've moved to DoW because its moer flexible plus its a better game, sure im gonna miss the space units my team was adding to the mod but we might go back and do that, but the lack of factions is quite . Once we're done with this mod for dow, we might go back and get the mod for eaw rolling (originally we had i think 9 factions that will be in the mod for Eaw.)

And if you think the Noobs on Dow multiplayer are bad, its about 2 times worse on Eaw Multiplayer, i stopped playing online because of them.

You'd be supprised by what a good Devs team could do. I think the main reson why they dont have space battle is cause there is little to No space combat on TT but devs could try?

No, it's because it would have made DoW be part ground and part space, making it just a copy of EaW, which would have sucked, but the DoW engine is all ground, and it's much better that way, the EaW engine lacks what DoW does.

You should, but it's only good for space, the campaigns are fun too, but again, space is the best. And there are good mods out for it too.
