well, if you party up with someone who has no idea what they are doing, then it really sucks :D But I concede your point, you cant really lose in WoW, but with DoW, one mistake and you lose the game full stop.
oh yeah i know that feeling. yuo realy need to practice in skirmish if you want a chance on multiplayer
i agree, i was so annoyed at my allie, it seemed it was his first online game seeing as he didnt know why he couldnt play as marines and his first game as necrons (as he didnt that only scarabs could capture points) and then he was being attacked by chaos so i moved my troops to his and defended him we were overwhelmed and i realised my base was being raped by fire prism, so i moved my troops back and he starts messaging me saying *blanking* *blank* face ya moms a *blanking* *blanker*
thats the only problem with playing online, people get annoyed when they lose, hey no one really likes to lose, its just most people handle it and do not, as you shown, barrage you with insults
i loose so much i just don't care anymore, so i dont do anything apart from defending allie bases :)
one time me and my clan mate where playing these 2 random people and they started with the killing so we launched a counter atack because we built in the same base so we had better defence, but they weren't working as a team so it was one attacks then the other, so we decided to attack as one we sent both armies to the same base i went in one way him in the other and we destroyed that base and player, so we thought well thats an effective strategy so we used it again and we almost beat him so he started callin us noobs saying we were ganging up on him! he couldn't quite grasp the concept of team work.
well here's my "im a noob" story. I was playing a standard 3v3 game against comps on harder. One of my partners got overwhelmed after he failed to defend his place, so he immediately switched teams... at that point i was in a major wtf mode, due to the fact i didn't even bother to check if teams were locked. Soon after the other player on my team (eldar) constructed afew webway gates within my base, i assumed this was to give him an easy way to backup my troops, i saw enemy units going towards his base so i sent over afew squads of guardsman (fully armed) to back him up but as soon as they got into his base and to the front of the battle, the eldar player switched teams on me and started blasting my guys. then he had the gull to attempt to use his webway gates he had planted in my base to get troops in and destroy my hq. My baslilisks quickly leveled the gates and that plan failed after he only got 1 squad of banshees through. Then they all proceeded to assualt my base, my guys were heavily dug in but there was no way in hell i could have won against 5 other players. When they attacked me they were laughing and telling me how much of a noob i was and how badly they suckered me, at that point i simply left.
okay, first you wernt the noob, the guys who switched teams were, second i would of reacted in a much worse way, i really do hate bastards who switch sides or leave the game at the first sign of loosing
Yeh f*****g annoys the hell out of me when people switch team.
well sometimes one just has to say OMG what are you doing =-o and then procede to explain them their errors calmy
like once I was paired with a tau, who previously only played as necs. He didn't cap, proceded to create gen farms, and massed stealthsuits.
After I tried to calmy explain to him that this is not the way to play, he proceded to chastise me with tidbits like you,fag i now hoe to play thit game or, yuor a gurl right, so stupid onlu a gurl could be
etc suffice to say, that I felt really warm at hearth after the enemy team first passed trough his base, and told me that they were sorry, that I had to have such a noob in my team. I later watched the reply and their in team comments were hilarious (woo ss power walk) (you think they have 100% fire on the move :-d)
